The Ohio Aerospace Institute, a joint initiative of the of the NASA Glenn Research Center, the Air Force Research Laboratory at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, the State of Ohio, numerous Ohio public and private universities granting doctoral degrees in aerospace-related engineering, and other supporters of the acceleration of Ohio’s aerospace workforce - joined forces with SAE International, a globally recognized association and standard developer for engineering professionals in automotive, aerospace, and commercial vehicle industries, to present the Aerospace Quality Webinar.
This free webinar highlighted recent aerospace activities regarding the AS9100 Quality Management System series of standards; the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) ICOP scheme, OASIS Database and Certification; Aerospace Engine Supplier Quality Strategy Group (AESQ)/SAE G-22 Committee and the new AS13100 Standard; plus, the Performance Review Institute’s (PRI) National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program (Nadcap), and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC).
The Smithers Quality Assessments Division’s, General Manager of North America, Aaron Troschinetz attended as a guest speaker for this event, presenting on the CMMC topic. As one of our principle leaders for the Information Security Services Department, Aaron was excited to share some of his knowledge and expertise during this robust webinar.
