As a supervisor of product testing, Justin oversees a team of engineers and technicians at the Smithers product testing laboratory in Lansing, Michigan. He works closely with clients to understand their needs, quote projects, and share testing data and results. He also collaborates with other product testing leaders in Akron, Ohio; Shawbury, UK; and Suzhou, China to understand global client needs and execute strategic growth plans.

Justin specializes in shock testing, especially thermal shock and mechanical shock. He also has significant experience with fluid mechanics, vibration testing, and thermal cycling, as well as many common industry standards. He has designed custom testing protocols for a diverse array of different components for use in automotive, agricultural, industrial, consumer, and other industry applications.
 
Justin has a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering technology from Central Michigan University. He first joined Smithers as an intern and became a full-time product testing engineer before stepping into his current leadership role.
